HISTORY

1943	AEM founded by Mr Roméo Dallara in Paris, FRANCE. AEM is a contractor for the pen brass ballpoint machining.
1950	The first gas burner designed for a clothes washing machine brand name BRANDT.
1955	AEM manufactures gas burners for the itinerant dealer cooking appliances. The company Morice Traitogaz is the first customer for commercial burners.
1960-1970	AEM develops one range of gas burners for stove and catering equipment. AEM allow technical support to the new catering manufacturer.
1970-1973	The extension of AEM is grateful for the gas changing from the town gas to the natural gas in FRANCE, pushing the customer to substitute the gas burner on the existing equipments. During this period AEM employed 63 persons.
1976	Acquired the company Juchat, manufacturer of pan cake, raffle cookers, step-up stove and medium duty fryers.
1978	Development of tube burner range for gas fan heaters.
1984	Manufacture moved to Romainville, gaining space and comfort.
1987	Industry market extension: AEM purpose industrial thermal equipment operating ready (flame sensors, flame controllers, optional and automatic processes, etc.) for all industry using gas energy.
Entre 1995 et 2003	New production machines with numeric drives, to make 95% of our machining. Modernization and computerization of the management office.
2004	AEM is a member of the gas normalization bureau in Paris and participates to the European standardization of catering equipment committee.
2005-2007	New generation of management: hiring of new production engineer and new technical team, founding of the engineering and development department.

TODAY

AEM designs, manufactures and sells gas heating equipment for commercial activity customers. AEM manufactures gas burners and components by limited batches between 250 to 1 000 pieces. To begin by more than 2 500 spare parts selection, AEM assembles a finished product to correspond to the application specifications.

AEM answers to the customer’s request by specific solutions and adapted proposals. Some of this industrial thermal equipment, in order to respect the application characteristics could include; electrical command boxes, insulated cabinets, support and positional structures and other optional functioning. The expertise and skill give to AEM the opportunity to take charge of the thermal process including the innovating technologies.

31st December 2008, AEM has a staff of 29 persons, made a annual turnover of 5,19 M€ and resides on 3 700 m² of industrial building and office in Romainville (93) (east suburb of Paris) in FRANCE.

OUR TRADE

REQUIREMENT ANALYSIS

Further your heating enquiry, we design with our customer all the technical aspects or specific restraints of the project. We note together the project specifications using gas thermal expert vocabulary.
When the specifications are recorded, we analyze the feasibility of the project and with our engineering department we build the solution take shape and become the commercial proposal. Further the sales quotation criterion, we could take on the contractor authority, the fitter, the assembler, furnisher and supplier.

DESIGNING

Our engineering department takes shape the proposal solution. We submit the drawings, wiring diagrams and technical characteristics to the customer agreement before the beginning of the manufacturing.

MANUFACTURING AND ASSEMBLY

We manufacture gas burners, our main activity, we subcontract too some oversize structures and optional functions. We produce the different projects in respect of the engineering drawings, the selected technologies and the adapted standards. Before shipment, we check quantities, dimensions, functions and other control criterion.

TESTS AND ADJUSTMENTS

Further the quotation or the contract specifications, we check the gas tightness and other fluids tightness. We test the heating equipments further the gas type and the pressure supply and if electric components included, the right current power. In the same time, the adjustments concern mainly the gas flow, air flow and sometimes settings of optional components.

FIELD INSTALLATION AND STARTING ASSISTANCE

We deliver heating equipment assembled as noticed before and tested. We, further your requests, install and connect them on your site. We execute the functions tests on your supervision and we train your maintenance and production teams to use, adjust and maintain our thermal equipment.

MAINTENANCE

After installing, our equipment is guaranteed one year and we could propose you the periodic maintenance contract.

ENGENEERING DEPARTMENT

Brainstorming by our design and engineering departments along with our technical team allow us to design and develop and manufacture all gas heating equipment on site to give our customers the best available.

MACHINING WORKSHOP

With our large choice of electronic drive machines, our machining workshop, mills, turns; shapes and saws all our manufactured spare parts used on our product ranges. The machine shop allows us to produce specific parts for unique equipment.

ASSEMBLY WORKSHOP

With our large stock of spare parts, our assembly department can realize other burners and equipment specifically ordered by our clients. The electric and electronic components are ordered and purchased from our subcontractors or partners.

LABORATORY

The laboratory develops new products, tests the new equipment after assembly and sets precise adjustments. The laboratory also helps customers to prepare their gas products to conform to European standard requirements for certification.
